Riccardo Galletta, Policy Officer, Infrastructure Gas & Retail Department at European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER)

Riccardo joined ACER in 2015. Within the Agency, he has been coordinating the work on hydrogen regulation and on several other areas of the EC-proposed hydrogen and gas decarbonisation package. Beyond this, he has been working on the ACER monitoring on the gas network codes (balancing, capacity, tariffs).
Before joining ACER, he worked four years as an energy consultant at REF-E and one year as energy research assistant at the Florence School of Regulation.
An economist by background, he holds a Master of Science in international economics from the Catholic University of Milan and a Master of Research in economics of energy, resources, and agriculture from the University of Toulouse.
